Trump's Family Member Gets Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for significant tournament

This young athlete has considerable online audience

Kai Trump will have numerous prominent supporters as she starts her professional golf debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, an avid golfer, possesses multiple international courses and often competes against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply stay calm."

"He basically suggested to go out there and have fun," she continued.

"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds the 461st position in AJGA standings.

However she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, who is dating her mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," the young golfer said.

"And he's an even better individual. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."

Kai will face several most prominent players in women's golf at the Annika, including world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence brings golf to different demographics, especially reaching youth audiences.

Kai maintains millions of followers and has started her own apparel and wellness company.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
